The Scene
Seen regularly on NBC's "Today" show and in the pages of "Allure," "In Style" and "Vogue," Licari opened his New York flagship salon in 1987. Since 1992 he's been splitting his time between there and this sleek black and mirrored jewel box offshoot, where celebs and locals come for unsurpassed color and cuts.
The Services
"Hair color is a woman's most important fashion accessory," says internationally renowned hair colorist and Revlon color consultant Louis Licari. He's a trained painter who incorporates skin tone, facial features and lifestyle considerations in his amazingly natural-looking formulas. His handpicked (roughly one out of 50 make the grade) team of five colorists and three stylists give each client their undivided attention, recommending appointments roughly every four to six weeks for single process color and every eight to 12 weeks for highlights. The salon doesn't sell extensions or wigs but sometimes colors them.

I've feel as if I have died and gone to Heaven, after finding The Louis Licari Salon. For many years I "salon hopped", endlessly trying to achieve gorgeous color and styling. Now, I will never leave The Louis Licari Salon , located in the heart of Beverly Hills. My colorist, Michael Petrelli is simply AMAZING...and my stylist, Brigitte Dani is PHENOMENAL. Michael was assisted by Sybil and Brigitte was assisted by Samy. These folks not only know their stuff, they made me feel like a Queen with all of the pampering and attention I received. It's a busy salon, but you have to expect that with a quality and professional operation. If they were not busy, I'd begin to worry! So, do yourself a huge favor and stop by or call (310) 247-0855 to make an appointment. Your hair and YOU will never be the same again!!! And, all for the better!!

I went in to the salon for a haircut but my friend went in for dye. She was very pleased with the outcome. Everyone was excellent and very friendly. They were constantly asking to see if we needed anything. Paul, the young man who dyed her hair was very helpful and friendly . We both had our hair cut and styled by Alexandra who was great! She was funky and fresh with great ideas on how to cut and style my hair, as I was undecided on the cut. Overall, everything was perfect! The staff was friendly and the cuts and my friends dye were incredible! I have never been more happy with my hair. If you are looking for a great hair salon, this is the place!
