Nice on occassion. Burnham used to be a best kept secret for many years. It was quiet and not many people used to frequent it.Now it's filled with loudmouth moviegoers, sticky floors and stale popcorn.
Just Go for the Movie - On cool Days.... - The air conditioner wasn't working - They ran out of popcorn BUT... - It's right across the street from my job. - I don't have to pay for parking downtown (I have a parking pass for work) - During the week the theater is nearly empty and we are able to see new movies without a hassle :O)
Burnham or Burn Him?.
I saw a film at Burnham last week and the air conditioner was out of order. If it's a particularly hot day, you may want to call first to make sure the air is working. Otherwise your experience is bound to be stifling.
Also, the concession staff is young and inattentive. Bring your own snacks to save time, money and frustration.
Despite these drawbacks, I still go here for the convenient location and the film selection. On most days you can see as many films here as you like without anyone noticing or caring.
