great shows. I love going to shows here, the bar downstairs is perfect for chillin out, and upstairs is just so perfect for a rock show.. Good Job!

The Blissters. I have been a loyal fan of The Blissters for a couple years. I eagerly awaited to see them play at the Double Door the other night Unfortunately, I was very disappointed to see that they blew. They sounded like an ugly lump of unlistenable trash made for people with no taste. Did you go temporarily deaf? You guys are nothing more than prefabricated wanna be pop stars with no identity whatsoever.

Great place to see a rock show!. This is hands down the best 21+ club in the city. The sound is amazing and the atmosphere is dark, smoky and seedy, just how a rock club should be! The bartenders are all very courteous and fast, and the beer specials are pretty reasonable for a music venue. Plus the basement bar and the photo booth are pretty cool as well.

Milwaukee Avenue concert venue anchors Wicker Park/Bucktown nightlife. The Scene
Established in the mid '90s when Chicago's music scene was grabbing national attention, the club has emerged as an essential gig for bands transitioning from small bars to larger venues. The main floor offers limited table seating but there's a long bar for easy drink access; between-set options include pool tables and pinball machines on the lower level (with closed-circuit televisions to monitor the action upstairs), or upscale wine choices and intimate seating more conducive to conversation on the mezzanine.

The Draw
The club's rotation of emerging local talent and national and international acts with a buzz, along with its bigger-than-a-bar, smaller-than-an-arena size, foster an exciting vibe on the floor. From legendary visits by rock monsters like the Rolling Stones, Cheap Trick and Smashing Pumpkins to the latest in alt country and hip-hop, every genre gets its turn on the stage.

great place to see a live act. The sound is top-shelf, the sight lines are great from almost everywhere in the venue. Drinks are a bit pricey, but there are deals to be had now and then. One of the best venues in the city.

best sound. Good views everywhere and good sound is consistent. They only need to add some more washrooms(like downstairs) PBR's are the killer deal!!!!!
