Centre East. This is a lovely, charming and spacious yet intimate venue. One of my favorite entertainment destinations on the North Shore. The programming at Centre East is diverse, fun, and affordable. Definitely check this place out if you're in Skokie. There's bound to be some enjoyable event going on no matter when you stop by.

A little bit of Broadway on the North Side.. The Venue
This complex of performance spaces in Skokie given to hosting some impressive acts that don't always make the journey downtown to Chicago proper. The building houses spaces like Centre East, and is the resident space of the acclaimed Northlight Theatre.

Northlight Theatre
Founded as the Evanston Theatre Company, this North Shore theatrical treasure house moved from its quarters in an Evanston school and former cinema to a comfortable new home in this theater, adjacent to Skokie's Old Orchard shopping center. Notable plays they've produced in the past include "Side Show" and "The Last Five Years."
