Sarah Brightman Editorial Review
In Short
Sarah Brightman blends pop and classical into a pleasing new-age soup, but on her 2004 album "Harem" (Angel), she adds a bit of Middle Eastern flavor to the mix. Brightman's strongest asset has always been her magnificent soprano, which launched her musical career at age 13 and landed her roles in "The Phantom of the Opera" and "Cats." Although her albums try on different styles, Brightman's singing is always comforting, often epic and occasionally divine.
