Pat Green Editorial Review
In Short
Country singer-songwriter Pat Green has major college cred--he learned to play guitar while attending Texas Tech, and his albums have been flying off the shelves in Big 12 towns faster than anything not called "Shiner." One of a few young turks being groomed by steel guitarist/producer Lloyd Maines, Green's outlaw sound pays homage not only to Willie and Waylon, but also to Robert Earl Keen and Lubbock hometown boys--the Flatlanders.
