In Short – You'd swear you were in Greece, except for the large fireplace that fills in for an ocean view. Whitewashed walls are decorated with baskets and copper pans, while bouzouki music plays in the background. Traditional Greek favorites include charcoal-grilled octopus and calamari, vegetarian moussaka and whole black sea bass. Lamb lovers should visit Thursday or Sunday, when the specials include barbecued lamb--it's slow-cooked, falling off the bone, and served with lemon-oregano potatoes.

Great Greek!

This place was fabulous! Grilled Octopus apptitizer was the best I've had and the belini's are great too. Nice warm place to go over the winter months. Very cozy. The service is wonderful and very knowledgeable.

Great seafood & service

by rwwiley

This new Greektown restaurant (great decor, warm setting) has a nice menu and even nicer service. Portions are very large, and they're great about sharing plates!

  • Pros: seafood, service, quality, portions
  • Cons: entrees can get spendy

Excellent experience!

by jess3

My first time dining at Santorini was at a company holiday party. At first I was not very thrilled because I am not a seafood lover and they are famous for their seafood selection. I ordered the Chicken Halsted not expecting much. I could not have been more wrong! The combination of chicken, alfredo sauce and past was incredible! I definitely did not expect this from a Greek restaurant but now I know better. I will definitely be going back soon!

  • Pros: Food selection & service!

The Details on Santorini's Restaurant

What to Drink:

Retsina (a pine resin-flavored white wine) is the authentic accompaniment to homestyle Greek dishes. It's an acquired taste; so try a glass before ordering a full bottle.

Save Money:

If you're dining with a group of eight or more people, consider the family-style meals, which offer three or four courses ($17.95-$36 per person, depending on selections).
