The Idea – The Shakespeare Repertory was only 13 years old when, in an unbelievable coup, it scored this space at Navy Pier. While its productions have occasionally been stilted, they're always very professional. – – The Venue – The interior of the theater is laid out perfectly, in an Elizabethan courtyard-style configuration. Outstanding Performance/Venue

We saw "Love's Labor's Lost" this past weekend and it was outstanding! It was the first performance I've seen at that venue, and the theatre was VERY impressive...You feel like you've traveled back in time!
The Bard would be proud!
- Pros: Everything
- Cons: It's on Navy Pier

The theater design alone will make your jaw drop to the floor with amazement! Designed after the Globe in the UK, it is not only beautiful but also practical. Every seat is great and the same price.
During the summer, there seems to be something for everyone. Not only Shakespeare but some family shows and shows very "SNL-like" but better.
They always have parking and even give a discount on it. Even if you're not crazy about Navy Pier, you'll feel like you're in another world. William Shakespeare would be honored to know in this day and age that not only is he not forgotten but that most would choose him over a ride in a ferris wheel anyday!
- Pros: Discounted Parking, Great Staff, Educational and Fun
