“heard from friends that they cut songs off in the middle and go to the next one, but I didnt notice I guess I had fun and the switches were not obnoxious.”
“The decor is amazing, the crowd pretty and the drinks good and strong!”
“To top it off, service was ridiculously slow (our meal lasted 3.5 hours), and the over-priced servings were so small that we all went away hungry.”
“Expected to find a great place with open minded people for dance.”
“Now i am never paranoid about racism, i have never had issues before but when i took her to the side to really try to understand she pretty much told me its just the way things are, I am sorry but i will never go back there and will never recommend a plac”
“THe bouncers are EXTREMELLY rude as well as the people who work in the lower level.”
“would say it is a little pricey to party there, but drinks are totally reasonable for such a nice club.”

Ehhhhhh...meh.. It's okay. I used to go here a lot, like, 4 years ago. I went again recently, and this place feels like, well, 4 years ago. You know a club isn't cutting edge anymore when all the "Chicago celebs" are skulking around it every weekend. Sorry, Jeremy Piven, but I won't be going here again.
Consistently good. I've tried many of the new "hot" clubs and I always find myself coming back to Le Passage. The decor is amazing, the crowd pretty and the drinks good and strong! I love their DJs, and the beautiful staff lack the attitude so typical of other clubs.
Just ok. I went on a saturday night for a birthday. We had table service (which i always recommend anywhere you go). We paid no cover charge, and were taken to our table right away, no wait at all. Very mixed crowd, all types of people and all ages. Great table service, never ran out of anything and always clean. OK music, kinda really crowded dance floor. Other than that, I had no lasting impression.
Le piece of %#$*. From the second my group and I walked through we were treated like %&#@ First the cover is way too high @ $20 then they charged me for too many people and refused to credit me back. From the management on down me and my party were treated horrible. We decided to stop arguning and try and have fun and deal with our problem another day. Upon enter the club we couldn't move it was so crowded drinks were ungodly expensive and the service was awful. I like a really nice trendy club every now and then but there is a fine line between a good club and some L.A. wanna-be's like these douche's.
good vibe.
I heard both good and bad things about the club so I decided to check it out with some friends. We had a good time.
Good vibe, the crowd looked about 25 and up, mostly attractive people and everybody actually dressed up which is not as common as it should be.
The music was good, nice blend of whats hot on the charts and some classics. I heard from friends that they cut songs off in the middle and go to the next one, but I didnt notice I guess I had fun and the switches were not obnoxious.
The cover is a bit pricey- $20, drinks as well- about $7 for a shot (most clubs charge $5). The staff and bouncers were nice and polite. A dance floor is a bit small but overall if you want to have fun you will.
Rude people and horrible service. This place is the worst place to go where the staff are incredibly rude and they don't even care that you if you complain. This place may have been trendy years ago but now they are so full of themselves that its just not worth going there anymore when there are so many other places to go in the city. Even the people who work there as well keep leaving because even they think its a horrible place to work! If you're a guy trying to get in with a group of guys, good luck trying to get in because they will never let you in, and on top of that they will ask you if you are on the guest list. What guest list?? I don't recommend going here if you want to have a good time with your friends. Too many bad experiences here.
I had fun. I'm new to chicago, this place was happening and fun. The $20 cover was a bit steep, but I still had a good time. If you like techno, this is a good place to go.
Worst Experience Ever!!!. Do not go here if you are young and looking for a good time. They allow anyone, and I mean ANYONE into this club. We paid $20 to get in, only to find people my parents age and older jammin on the dancefloor. It was the lamest experience I have ever had in Chicago. Don't waste your time or money is this place.
Perhaps I will give it a 2nd try..... I wanted to give this establishment a try after hearing all the craze and reading reviews. I did the entire bottle service which guaranteed me a table during a quite busy night...prices were typical I thought, the service was absolutely terrible, music quite mundane, and dancing very scarce. As the night began to conclude, we had to change tables, and then our bottle was vehemently taken away from us. Perhaps I am not used to places advertising they close at 4, but in reality it is 3:15??
Great Club:. Le Passage is one of the most trendiest clubs in Chicago. Great Music, Atmosphere and Yes, the audience is good. The best way to get in is to make resreavtions and get a table. Spend 300 with a group of friends you will have a great time.
