In Short – Upon entering, a roadhouse feel pervades this vintage supper club, thanks to trophy-worthy fishing catches hung from knotty pine walls. Workers donning jeans pack the red vinyl bar stools for lunchtime burgers and beer, while families munch tuna salad sandwiches, chili and grilled cheese at tables. The menu of basics also includes shrimp or crabmeat cocktail, barbecue beef and sandwiches like roast beef and ham. Sides are limited to slaw and fries.
don't move the table

went there tonight with my family of 5. good burger. there was 1 table of 3 in the entire place. about 20 open tables. as all the tables are round 4 tops, i pushed 2 tables together. the waiter immediately told me "we don't allow you to move the table" i thought he had to be kidding, he was not. when i asked why he said " we just don't allow it" remember when rest. went out of their way to accomodate their cutomers. not this place! as it was late and we were hungry we stayed. warning: don't move the tables!!!! it wouldn't have been too difficult for them to be nice, there still would have been about 18 open tables!

are you kiddin' me?? there is no better.....i've been going to Charlie's for almost 20 years and simply put, it's the BEST!! Now when are they open in '08 because i'm "jonesing" for a burger?
- Pros: everything...this is a first class burger joynt with great wait staff
- Cons: the parking lot at time can be a problem but it's minor and only when packed
I don't get it
by jrwilliams59 at Citysearch
Before I went here I always heard people rave about the place. I don't get it. The hamburger is average at best, pretty much bland and mushy. I can make a better one at home. It is really nothing more than glorified fast food, especially when its busy. Get in, eat, get out. They should at least have a TV so you can watch sports, after all you are nothing but a hamburger joint.
- Pros: none
- Cons: uninspired food, not relaxing
