Rudest Staff EVER who RUINED MY BDAY PARTY!. I went to Zentra for my Bday and this place has the most half-a$$ed management and the stankest employees I've ever encountered. The drinks were weak and expensive and I got EJECTED (for the 1st time in my life) for accidentally sitting at a table which was reserved (which we were sitting at ALL NIGHT witn NO 'RESERVED' SIGN). I was man-handled and tossed. I'm from Boston-came to Chi-town for a good time-THERE ARE NO GOOD TIMES TO BE FOUND AT ZENTRA. BOOOOO!!!! Doesnt even deserve 1 star.

Fun Night Out. Zentra is one of my favorite places to go when I'm downtown. At first it was the place we went for the after party, but lately I've been going there with my girlfriends to have fun all night long. They have 3 dance rooms (1.hip hop 2. techno 3. house) it doesn't matter what you're into, youi'll be sure to find an area to enjoy your night. There are a lot of promotions goin on there so if you're able to get on a guest list, good for you. Didn't mind the staff, the bartenders are nice to look at and drinks are a bit pricey--worth it though.

Expect to be refused your RSVP If you complain expect to be roughed up and ripped off. Hello, I had visited Zentra Nightclub and recieved the worst guest

treatment i have ever at any venue. I would apreciate

your time to look over the treatment i recieved and

witnessed other on that night. After posting an RSVP

on there website to be on the guest list my name was

not on the list of paper the door man was holding.

Not only myself but I also witnessed several other

people have the same problem in front of me. I was

told that we would have to pay full price to get in

regardless of my reservation and would not refun the

$35 even if i brung them a copy of the email

validating my reservation. I am not from Chicago and

had driven there for the show to see one of the

preformers from St Louis. I do club promotions as

well as DJ here in St Louis for years and understand

how clubs generally operate. Regardless of the RSVP I

payed full price for entry after being assured that

the performers I had came to see was going to be

present. I later found out that this performer was

not present at the show after spending over $30 for 4

drinks. The club Manager

was not aware the performer was not present when i

brung this to there attention. I had requested my

money back as reasonably and calmly as I could. My

request was not granted and I was grabed by my neck

and pushed out of the club shortly there after.

Super snotty staff. For a club that got old fast, somebody should tell the bartenders and bouncers that this ain't Studio 54. So rude! And the club mix is pretty boring. Take your cover and your friends somewhere else.

NEVER throw a party here!!!. I recently threw a party here b/c I had a good experience at a previous event that my friends threw. Unfortunately they do not give everybody the same experience. Throughout the planning process, their communication was horrible about what was involved in the party package, even though I specifically stated what I wanted. Once we arrived we were treated poorly. People that were on my guestlist and knew that the party was under my mine, were told they were not on and were forced to pay regular cover. Horrible service on the part of management and I would NEVER recommend Zentra to anybody.

Make a $10 trip to an exotic locale.. The Scene
This is a "transglobal" nightclub experience, a sumptuous, Eastern-flavored pleasure dome draped in exotic silks and suffused with red lights. Think Middle Eastern bazaar, with gyrating belly dancers and hookah girls in body paint and spangly outfits mixing in with the crowd. The first of Zentra's four rooms contains a massive copper-colored bar and plenty of couches and cushions tucked into corners. The best seats are in a corner booth draped with a chainmail curtain, great for keeping your harem in privacy. The upstairs dance floor is an East-meets-West playground for grown-ups: throbbing electronic beats, swings, more belly dancers, and a crowd of 20-somethings shimmying and whirling.

The Draw
Champagne, martinis and sweet mixed drinks are popular options--this is not the place to hoist a brew, despite the presence of a beer garden next to the main bar room.

Horrible.. The bouncers were incredibly rude and stupid. They thought my real I.D. was fake and were intent on acting like the biggest jerks to us for no good reason. They were the complete opposite to the friendly staff at the Funky Buddha.

have a better time down the street. The drinks are overpriced, the staff is rude and the service is awful. You wait and wait, and finally get served a very weak and very expensive drink. For the same price you can have a better time at the place thats just down the street.

Great. This place is great, diverse and friendly. It's a really comfortable environment to hang out with friends and also a great date spot. Good music, good people. Check it out.
