Great place to see independant comedians!. What I think is so cool about The Playground is that the comedians performing there are creatively in control of their own material. You won't see watered-down comedy there! It's a cool place with a fun energy. Plus, it's inexpensive, and you'll probably get to meet most of the performers hanging around after the show. Don't forget to bring beer!

Variety!. This theater has a remarkable variety of improv shows. For $10, you can see up to 4 of their house groups! Plus, they have after hours shows that run the gamut from improv to sketch to burlesque. Check their website for more info on the shows playing, but there's never a dull moment at this relatively undiscovered Chicago gem!
