What People Are Saying About Hunt Club

In Short – The State address is a technicality; this is as prime a Rush nightlife area address as it gets. Inside reveals progression from gritty pick-up bar to singles nightclub. The main floor features an island bar, manned by ace bartenders. High-tops line the perimeter. Further back, a stairwell splits: Upstairs find a small lofted dance floor equipped with too much sound and light for the cramped space, and downstairs, pretty much the same with the somewhat inconsequential addition of a few tables.
Awesome Food and Drinks!

I just moved to the new area and have to say that the Hunt Club is one of the most refreshing bars around my neighborhood! The staff seems to want to make their customers happy as well as the cooks. You can get anything on the menu just how you like it. (Even if you want a RARE burger) If you like to have a martini once in awhile-- You have to try key lime! A server told me it was great and i was skeptical but it was fabulous! The patio is a great place to drink and people watch and the mood is always upbeat and friendly. The name seems to throw people off but during the day and most of the night the swing doors on both sides of the bar are open to the street corner. I don't hesitate to take family and friends there, however, it is a 21 and over place so no kids. That could be a good thing though!
- Pros: Key Lime Martinis!
Terrible Food

I initially found it strange that a "sports bar" didn't have games on, our server asked the manager several times to turn on a game for us , and eventually the channels were changed to ones that actually showed sports but then the music kept cutting in and out and the same songs repeated frequently. The service was great and the staff helpful and accomodating, but I woke up early in the next morning with explosive diarreah from the food.
- Pros: hot servers and bartenders
- Cons: food
The WORST service in the world!

The Hunt Club is not in the business to make happy customers or money for the bar. Out waitress gave away our table, and took away our drinks and coats when I went to the restroom and my friend went out for a smoke. We asked our waitress what happened to all of our stuff, and she just looked at us and said that if we want out coats back, we'll need to pay the $3 coat check charge. The manager came over and said the same thing. No one apologized for taking our drinks, table, and coats. No one tried to appease us so that we would be happy and stay to spend money there. We left and I will NEVER go back there again! You can be treated with more respect in a gulag in Siberia.
- Pros: There are cabs all around to take you to a better bar
- Cons: Waitstaff and manager are rude, you can't go to the bathroom for fear of losing your table and drink
