No joke, the best sports bar in town!. I was in Chicago in November and on the day we left, we had 6 hours to burn before flying back to NJ. We ordered a Chicago Classic Pizza and put down a few Old Styles, the local Chicago brewski. Since the Bears were in town, you could really see what a Chicago sports bar is all about. The T-shirt collection they got going is something else too..I just had to indulge. I can't wait to see the real deal in the summer when I come back and the Cubs are in town. Definately all as advertised!

Pleasant place for football.... During Cubs games (and pretty much for all of baseball season), this place is complete madness. But go in during football season and it's a nice, relaxed place to watch all the games. The chairs/tables, though, are more set up for standing room, so it's not the most comfortable place to hang for three hours.

For many Cubs fans, a game-day trip to this Wrigleyville bar is as traditional as the national anthem.. In Short
The bar behind Wrigley Field's right-field bleachers features--what else?--tons of Cubs memorabilia, plus ballpark favorites like hot dogs, brats, burgers and plenty of beer. Sidewalk seating proves a good vantage point pre- and post-game; there are booths in the back room, but the bar's usually standing room only with rowdy, young fans. The main bar serves standard drinks, and a smaller bar in back sells cider and Harp on tap and bottled imports.

jazz7816. Unfortunately, I now live in Stone Mountain Ga. but I am originally fron Norridge Il. I am a left field bleachers fan along with the "Bleacher Preacher" , Ronnie woo woo , Carmilla Hartigan and all the others. We always start out and end up every game at Jim Murphy's, the only bar to go to--the best.! My mouth is watering just thinking of a nice cold Bud and one of those GREAT Murphy's cheezeburgers. Hope to get back asap. Later Skip "jazz7816"

Sports bar. What do you expect. Good lively crowd. Prices a little on the high side. Food is good, large burgers, and a great atmosphere. Lively no matter if the Cubs win or lose...
