Editorial Review for Grace Noethling Park (Wiggly Field) – by Citysearch Editors
The Scene
This crowded, postage stamp-sized park next to the El tracks on Sheffield Avenue isn't much of a park by traditional standards. Grass? Hardly. Most of the grounds are paved, with occasional dirt spots surrounding trees and fences. But Fido won't mind as soon as you let him off the leash, which is the whole idea behind Wiggly Field, as the park is commonly known.
Overview
All dogs must have their shots; no female dogs in heat; owners must pick up after their dogs; no more than two dogs per person. Organizers fear too many dogs will result in the area's physical disintegration, and they discourage those not from the Wrightwood neighborhood from using the park. However, people do visit from all over and are generally welcomed.
