great food. We ordered Black Bean and Corn filled Wontons which was mind blowing. It was hot and very tasty and we didn't waited too long for that. Fast services.
Food, Beer, and Now Comedy.
I've always loved the food and booze at Fizz. Now they have comedy there on Thursday nights, which is my Fizz night. Steel Mags and Jim vs. Mike are there now. Both are really funny. Steel Mags is total guy humor even though i caught my girlfriend laughing more than me.
Jim vs. Mike is really different than anything i've seen before. So much fun. I know they said they were there for a few more weeks so try and check them out.

Poor Service & Cheap Halloween party. Went in the past to Fizz's Halloween party and had fun, but not this year. They just did not seem to know how to handle the ticket situation this year, gave you cheap well drinks unless you specifically asked for Stoli vodka, they were understaffed for such and event. Seems like Fizz has been on the decline for a while as the turnout was not great. Its a shame. We will take our business elsewhere from now on.
Owner(s) is/ are the R-U-D-E-S-T !!!. while the food at fizz was decent and the wait staff were attentive (on sat, oct 18th- 8-11pm), the owner that evening (a woman with short hair) was offputting and an outright repellant. i had scheduled a get-together there on saturday nite. i spoke and met with a dan who said he was the owner of the bar a week prior and set up a $30 per person drink special. there was a breakdown/mix-up/misunderstanding of what dan told me was included in that price and what the woman owner that night said was included. it was really not a big deal... most of the guests bought the pkg anyway. but it was the way the woman owner conveyed the misunderstanding. it is almost as if she has never worked with the public before. that or she views every single patron of this bar as a pain and a moron, and it is up to her to quash any flow to the evening or opinion that is not in line with hers. someone brought in his 6# maltese, and the dog was passed around from 1 person's arm to another. you know, ooohing and aaahing. then came the owner woman who basically threw out the dog. most reactions are favorable when asked in the right way. THIS OWNER WOMAN DOES NOT HAVE CLUE ONE. most of my guests were 1st timers to fizz and have voiced vows of never returning. i recommend trying bungalow, pony, belly's, finley dunne's or waterhouse instead + tons of other restaurants located in the immediate area.
never again. have fun waiting 30 minutes for a drink. Not even just me...every person at this bar was confused. the shocking part is that they weren't even super busy until later on. i finally had to stop one of the bartenders, and asked if i could order my round. he got flustered and told me "dude, i'm totally super swamped right now." are you kidding me...this place is a joke.
Pizzas, Spinach and artichoke fondue, burgers. I absolutely love it at Fizz. The food is always quick and wonderful. The atmosphere is cozy and there is different types of seating for everyone. Top 5 in the city for me!
Storefront neighborhood bar at a bustling intersection..
The Scene
From up the street, look for the bottle cap with "Fizz" written on it. Outside, tall, curved front windows once displayed men's clothing. Inside, it's clean and airy, with brick, wood paneling and clusters of low tables stretching back behind the bar. Drink specials define theme nights, like "sneaky tiki" Wednesdays, with fun fruity drinks and low-cost Coronas. Fizz's second level has pool tables, a DJ and sometimes bands. Service is attentive, and the crowd is made up of young professionals.
The Draw
Fizz probably carries your favorite brew, with about a dozen drafts and two dozen more in bottles; it's also safe to order cosmos, martinis or any other cocktails from the full bar. Food offerings lean toward southern and southwestern dishes, such as pulled pork sandwiches, stuffed filet mignon, black bean and sweet corn wontons, and a crab cake BLT.
Fun and cozy. Love the new beer garden. Food is very good and much better than typical bar food. Comfortable place to hang out.
Good atmosphere, GREAT food!. Lots of young professional people, fun stuff going on, plus the BEST bar food you will ever taste. We ended up sharing 4 or 5 different entrees with everyone sitting at our table, and each one was better than the next... and the price isn't bad, either. I'll definitely be back.
