Editorial Review for 115 Bourbon Street – by John Gerard McLaughlin
The Scene
The cavernous, 40,000-square-foot entertainment complex, in a strip mall in Merrionette Park, offers a cartoon-themed New Orleans style restaurant, a sports bar with four 11-foot TV screens, an arcade, a nightclub and an upstairs VIP room that looks out over the fun.
The Draw
Families and date-night couples populate the restaurant; the sports bar attracts a more boisterous casual crowd, while the disco is filled with prowling singles in club gear. To escape the noise and bead-slinging bartenders, wrangle an invitation to the large, clubby VIP room upstairs--typically the domain of an older, well-dressed crowd.

A few weeks ago a group of us decided to experience what we heard was the best male strip show around. I had heard that the males were a piece of art and made the experience a memory to last a lifetime. These men are not imature, these men are real and built and the experience, well let me just say "I can't wait to go back." They are deff babes that workout. We had the best time, the 3 hours passed by very quickly and left alot of us, well, hot.... If you want to, you can have a private picture taken with them and that is my agenda for the next time we go. Also, this is an all male scene. Except for the audience, there are no females. The men are there to serve you and perform. A great place for an excellent experience. We are going again on May 9th. I cant wait.

I'll be honest, this is not my type of place. I'm into the smokey neighborhood bars, always up for a game of cricket..... so I'll try to be unbiased. We went on a weekend, and parking was a pain. Valet was backed up, and although we were told not to park in the Dominick's lot, we did. So I would suggest getting there early to avoid the traffic jam. Walking in, the bouncer's were polite and when asked, directed us to the sport's bar, which I enjoyed. Drinks were priced well, bartenders were courteous and quick. I cannot stress how big this place is, and i was surprised with the sport's section being as large as it was. I was happy to find some live music in this section, it was actually a really good time.... but then we took a walk and found ourselves in the "night club" section. They had a band performing marky mark and the funky bunch songs (wtf?) with two dancers. Total throw back to the 90's, and NOBODY was enjoying themselves. We tried to leave there to check out the other dance section, but it was packed. Good music was being played there, but it was so hot people were coming out drenched. All in all, I would recommend the sport's bar, not so much the dance club, unless you like house/mix/90's B96 music. I must say, however, it seemed the patrons of this bar were having a great time. It seemed pretty average to me, but oh well. I wasn't there for the beer garden, but I've heard great things about that.
