They do not take the strings off of the snap peas in dinners-Yuk! I even asked for them too, it was like eating a "big " of hair, cant go anymore after that

Hit the Jackpot with this one!. I have no idea what others that rated this place were expecting, but I've had nothing but delicious presentation. The Phad Thai, with their own sauce, was amazing although I suspect they don't use Tamarinds. Doesn't matter. It was very good and unique. Plenty of Peanuts, Plenty of Egg, Plenty of Noodles and plenty of fresh herbs; Basil, Cilantro etc. Each time I went there I got the Phad Thai and was very impressed. I'm from Seattle and was disappointed that they don't have one there. I can't think of anywhere else I'd like to eat in the area. I'm from out of town and was super impressed with the Mojito (with Gin). When I asked for chopped Chilis to accompany my Phad Thai, that' precisely what I got....not some delapidated old chilis, but Fresh Chopped Chilis. What's more is that I got Coconut Ice Cream at the end. I don't know about the Chinese food because I've never had good Chinese food. I've eaten at the best Chinese restaurants in Seattle, Stuttgart, El Paso, Pheonix, Louisville and many other cities, but have yet to be excited about returning. Of course P.F. Chang's is a good restaurant, but you're stuck with Chinese. Go to the Big Bowl to think outside the carry-out box and you'll be pleasantly pleased. Forget all the reviews that dump on the place. Those guys don't have a clue. I've worked in professional Kitchens where creativity is the key element. These folks have it. You want Sysco Cloned food on a plate that tastes like what you're familiar with; go elsewhere. You want truly good Asian Fusion food....this is where you wanna go!

Try someplace else with authentic food. The Big Bowl serves asian cuisine with an American twist. The food is greasy, over priced and the portions are huge. The food is nowhere authentic and extremely unhealthy with the sodium contents.

You can order a custom bowl (like a mongolian stir fry) with all the toppings and also a chef's recommendation. The place is too noisy, crowded and is ok for aone time visit if you are done shopping at the mall and have nothing better to do in life.

Not recommended. Simply put, the food was not very good. Out of 4 dinners (all completely different), only 1 was actually decent. I have had much better Pad Thai at every other asian restaurant I have ever been to including Vong's Thai Kitchen and other local Thai restaurants. The appetizers were decent however. Service was good, but they had no record of my reservation even though I had the confirmation code they gave me. There was currently a long wait time, but they did get us seated in about 10 minutes. For a similiar experience with good food go to P.F. Chang's. The prices are simliar and I have been there many times and have never been disappointed.

Great FOOD. Usually crowded but well worth the wait. Food and service are excellent.

Be careful with the spicy dishes, they are SERIOUSLY hot.

We like it a lot!. My husband and I are not from Asia but we like this restaurant a lot. The food tastes very good, and the service is excellent. Our friends and we like to go there often. The only problem is that it is usually crowded, so you have to arrive there with some extra time.

Asian Food for Yuppies. There are better places to go for Asian food. The food here, especially Chinese food, was not the best. The orange chicken tasted more like sweet and sour chicken as if the chef didn't know the difference. The portion sizes are also smaller compared with other Chinese restaurants.

The big draw here is they encompass most of the Asian cuisine like the popular Japanese and Thai dishes in addition to Chinese. I tried the Pad Thai and that was pretty good. They seem to have a lot of options for vegetarians too.

I wouldn't recommend this as a great restaurant. If you are dining with people who have different tastes for Asian food or are vegetarians, then this might be a good alternative. But if you are looking for the best Asian food at reasonable prices, then stick with your local favorite Chinese or Thai restaurant.

Design your own meal at this popular, casual Pan-Asian restaurant.. In Short
Intimate lighting and an open, casual atmosphere draw diners of all ages to this friendly Asian spot. Customers design their own stir-fry from an array of veggies, meats and sauces, then wait while it's cooked and delivered to their table. The lengthy menu also offers a variety of Thai, Cantonese and Szechuan items, from shrimp rolls and teriyaki chicken to kung pao beef served with roasted peanuts.

Not for asians. If you're asian, don't go to this restaurant...you'll be offended. If you're not asian, trust me when I say that you can get much better asian food than this place. It may look like a nice place, but the food to be honest, just sucks. Whoever is running the kitchen doesn't know how to cook asian food.

Try StirCrazy at woodfield mall next door....much better!
