Editorial Review for Blue Agave – by Citysearch Editors

In Short
Papier-mâché toucans add a south-of-the-border feel to the long, U-shaped bar and balcony dining area. Decor includes beer and tequila logos on neon signs, banners, flags and umbrellas. The menu includes quesadillas, tacos, flautas and enchiladas, as well as entrees such as cheese- and chili-stuffed chicken, skirt steak with salsa and chicken Oaxaca--baked in a paper bag, covered in mushrooms and bathed in spicy red sauce.

waitresses/bar staff seemed ot only be paying attention to members of the opposite sex that were their own age. BAr maid kept our change without asking. Margaritas were good, but I've had better.. Okay--but they need ot send their staff to customer service training.

Cons: Bad Service

3 Star Rating: Average

I had the enchiladas with Mole sauce (which from my experience is usually pretty mild) and it was so spicy I took two bites and was finished. The margaritas were fine, though, and this place is reasonably priced for the neighborhood it's in. But I would suggest going elsewhere.

Pros: margaritas were good

Cons: over spiced food
