The Scene – Where Bamboo Bernie's once resided, a late-night Lincoln Park hot spot has gone in. Smurf-blue brick walls, fuchsia track lighting, oversized antique mirrors and three crystal chandeliers lend the warehouse-y space a bit of class. While people aren't here to sit still, black and silver amoeba-shaped tables give early birds a place to unwind until the dance floor heats up. Accessible by two metal staircases, an open-air, second-floor lounge overlooks the backroom--and has a fire-escape feel, regardless of the warm rust tones. This place was truly awesome!

I loved the decor. The bouncers are cool and the bartenders were more than courteous. The bars are big and the mirrors are huge. It is rich and the lighting is dark very dark but that adds to the atmosphere. The dance floor is adjacent to the bar and is very modern new age looking with concrete and steel. Looks like a factory with plenty of room. The drinks were good and cheap as hell I got so drunk there I could barely stand up. I was there about three hours and I sincerely regretted leaving early I wanted to stay all night long and I would have if I had been the one in charge. The DJ was a cool guy I liked him alot too. I definitely recommend that if you are in Chicago you visit there no BS.
- Pros: good drinks, great dance floor, good DJ
- Cons: don't want it to end

Drinks aren't difficult to get, especially with three staffed bars but they're pricey and not nearly stiff enough.
When to Go:
Don't come at 9pm, when the doors are supposed to open. You'll stand outside waiting to be let in, only to sit in an empty bar until midnight, when the rest of Lincoln Park comes.
