Too much money. Staff are idiots.. I walked up and saw a sign that said "today's special $6 goose island". 6$ for a beer is the special? You have to be joking. The servers are somewhat dumb too. The food makes up for it and makes this place average. However, I recommend going to bars more south. Such as the morseland. Tell them Victor sent you.

Pub-style grub and giant martinis at this Northwestern spot.. In Short
Equal parts bar and eatery, this dark wood-paneled hangout attracts a typically mixed Evanston crowd. Students and locals grab seats at bar stools, tables or booths before perusing the massive food and drink menu. Appetizers range from chicken fingers to spicy pot stickers; entrees include a blackened catfish po' boy topped with olive salad and Cajun meat loaf served with a mound of mashed potatoes. Specialty sandwiches include the Luigi (steak) and Vesuvio melt (mozzarella-topped grilled chicken).

Great Place to Catch a Game. Bar Louie is in a great Evanston location. The food here is bar food, but it is not typically and it is very good. There are several TV strategically placed around the bar. Seemed like a great place to catch a Sunday ball game or grab a drink with friends. Enjoyed the ambience a lot.
