Unreliable, rude -- untrustworthy

They started out pretty good and I liked my cleaner. But the bosses used to randomly change her schedule so that she wouldn't come when I was expecting her - or they'd send a total stranger at times when they expected I would not be there. The final straw was when no one came at our scheduled time a couple of days before Christmas and they tried to tell me I had agreed to this. BAD SERVICE, VERY UNRELIABLE.

• Pros: my original cleaner was nice, thorough, personable.
• Cons: I rarely got her once I'd committed to the service and gave them my key; they send strangers at odd times!

Good Cleaning-Horrible Customer Service-borderline scam

I had a similiar experience with one of the other reviews. We loved them at the beginning but over time the service got worse and worse. We used their credit card billing feature, but they kept overcharging us for the time it took to clean our house. We stopped using the credit card billing, and starting paying them with a check. That's when everything went to heck.

They continued to charge our credit card after we starting paying them with a check, and they kept charging us for visits they never made on the credit card as well. we had to call them 3 times to get it resolved. I work out of the house, and so I am home when they come to clean. I make a note of when they arrive and when they leave and I pay accordingly. We then started to get bills for $5 in the mail saying that we were under-paiding them with the check. I called them again, and to resolve the situation we agreed to have the girl call the office when she left my house to confirm when she was done. I made a note of those times, and we were still being over-charged for the time she said she was here. We then got more bills in the mail for $5 and $10.

The girl we liked (GOSHA) left the company and they kept sending out "new/different" people when we had our bi-weekly cleanings. The new girls took longer and therefore we had to pay more, which I started to think was a total scam. We finally cancelled them due to these issues and starting using MaidBrigade (www.maidbrigade) who is more expensive, but MUCH better than these people. They also use all green products, and provide their own vacuums and cleaning supplies. We did the math, and its about the same price as Dust Connection when you factor in the inconvenience of using the Dust Connection.

Beware, you might like them at the beginning, but they can't provide a consistant level of service.

• Cons: Billing issues, inconsistent service, poor customer service, hard to deal with.

poor customer service

I used this cleaning serviced for over a year. They did a decent cleaning job initially but then went downhill. They did not show up when scheduled. When we called them they told us it would be another 10 days before they could send someone. We had guests coming in 2 days so that was stressful. Also, I called them to change the credit card to be charged to since I was moving and gave them a new credit card. They continued to charge my old credit card for multiple cleanings that I did not receive and I had to call at least three times to get it fixed. I am not sure why it was so complicated. On the third call, I spoke with Mary Lynch from accounting. I was upset as I had to call so many times. She actually called me a swear and was did not want to help me. I ended up having to change my credit card number as they would not stop charging my card. The whole experience was awful.
