In Short – Decorated with Thai wall hangings, this busy eatery just north of the Riviera Theater draws locals with a broad menu of noodle, rice and curry dishes, plus salads and seafood specials. Dishes include appetizers like kang liang, a vegetable and shrimp soup, and pla koong, a shrimp and mushroom salad. Entrees include whole snapper and curry catfish with zucchini and eggplant. Save room for dessert like the Thai custard. – –
A feast for your mouth -- not just the limited array of Thai food that we're used to

This is my favorite place for Thai in Chicago, and it was just loved by my family visiting from out of town. I haven't had pad thai here, so I can't really argue with previous reviews regarding this. But be adventurous and try dishes from their menus that you haven't tried before (yup, ethnic food -- why not learn about foods you haven't had?) -- and you will be richly rewarded! Their red (Panang?) curry is subtly spiced and warm, and their duck salad is amazingly tangy and flavorful. Pretty much everything we've ever had there was lovely. It does get crowded in the evening, and service can be (accordingly) slow, which is why I put it down as "recommended" rather than "highly recommended."
- Pros: very tasty food, great value
- Cons: it gets crowded and service can be a bit slow
Definitely overrated!

I read these reviews and also read "siteguy"'s recomendation to order the Pad Thai-extra peanut. Sorry, but I have had better Pad Thai than this. in fact, I have tried MOST Thai restaurants in Chicago and I would never recommend this one. Maybe it is a matter of personal taste. But I have rockin taste buds!
The other dishes we had I was not impressed with either.
I would never eat here again.
- Pros: Clean restaurant.
- Cons: Not the best Thai food in Chicago.

Beautiful pastries, colorful entrees, concientious and english-speaking staff... The food was wonderful, our group of 12 received fast service and they even took time to explain some of the more exotic dishes. I didn't have the chance to sample the exotic flavors of ice cream, but I can tell its made locally. They have 3 licensed chefs and multiple reviews from local newspapers... I can't give much more information- but they're great and we're going back soon.
- Pros: Inexpensive $5-7, Delivery
- Cons: Street parking
