“She does the most amazing brows and facials, and even makes the bikini wax comfortable.”
“(the best tea ever, by the way!)”
“Jemma, one of the managers, went above and beyond her job duties and made sure everyone in the waiting room was comfortable and never without some of their yummy cucumber water.”
“Great lunch menu for those who want to grab a post-massage bite before heading back to the office.”
“Spa Space is a good place for group events.”
“will definitely come back whenever I am in Chicago and will let all my friends know about this incredible place.”
“Overall Spa Space had great services and great service (minus our first encounter).”
“Services are fine but since the whole experience does not make customers comfortable it is not worth it.”
“Relaxing area was a major plus for unwinding and the service was impeccable - friendly, polite and quick.”

Thank goodness I discovered this 7,500 sq. ft. gem on Canal Street. Hands down the best no-chip mani in the world followed by their signature 90 minute massage (30 mins massage, 30 mins reflexology, 30 mins head and scalp). I think I died and went to spa heaven.
Have returned multiple times for mani/pedi appointments. Very good customer service and are cognizant if you have any time constraints.
My feet were not happy after the "Happy Feet" pedicure. I moved here from Boston a couple of years ago, and I have been looking for a spa to replace my beloved Emerge spa located in the downtown Boston area. I was very disappointed in the happy feet pedicure at Spa Space. My technician was very nice and gave me an adequate manicure, but she did not fulfill the promises that the web site advertise for the happy feet treatment. The massage was mediocre & my feet have had a superior exfoliation at Emerge for $65. The happy feet cost $95. My appointment started 15 min. late even though I was an hour early, and when I left no-one seemed interested to know why I was clearly unhappy. This was my first visit and I am VERY hesitant to try any of the other services.
Ask for Beth!. This review is specifically about Beth Dahlke Kiens. Beth has been my masseuse for the last 8-10 months and has been beyond WONDERFUL. At the point at which we met, I had near chronic lower back pain and crunchy shoulders. I truly credit Beth (and some yoga) for the fact that I feel as great as I do now. Beth specializes in deep tissue massage (though I know she does a range of things, Swedish, etc.) which is exactly what I want. I should mention that I have had dozens of massages at high end spas and hotels around my country, such that my frame is reference is pretty good. Beth has a true knack for discovering the exact points of tension in your body, managing to find just about ever kink. Also, having seen her over time, I can say she adapts her techniques to your particular needs on that given day; no two massages are the same. Also, she is truly sweet and entirely professional, exactly the kind of person you want working on you. She asks if you're comfortable, if you want more or less pressure, etc. Massages from Beth are the best treat I give myself. I truly recommend her to everyone!
Heavenly!. My daughter and i went to Spa Space on Saturday, April 16 and left feeling very relaxed. I have to say, we compared our experiences when we left and it sounds like I got a better facial. It was my first. Mine included massaging my hands and arms, and my feet and ankles. Her name was Janine (maybe spelled wrong) and she did a fabulous job! I highly recommend the place and her. Even though I live in Bloomington, IL, I hope be back for more. It's close to my daughter's condo and it's a Great Relaxing Place with very nice, pleasant employees! Great experience!
THE SPACE I NEED. It was a perfect choice for me. I got there and wasn't asked to wait for long. They right away showed me the ladies' lounge. They've got everything I need and the massage really made me feel relaxed and peaceful.
like. The dressing rooms were adequate but the washable slippers needed to be replaced, at least stitched some holes. The waiting area, well used as the white cushions needed some cleaning. My treatments were thoroughly technical.
Excellent... Far beyond my expectations !!.
I'm from France and while visiting Chicago I wanted to go to a GREAT spa. Beacause of the good reviews, I chose Spa Space. Wow... What a good choice !!!
When I arrived, I had a warm welcome. They offered me tea and glass of water. Then, they showed me the ladies' lounge. Amazing. You have everything : lockers, hot robes, towels, 2 showers, sinks with mirrors, hair dryers and good products (hand and face creams...).
Let me talk about the showers : very big showers with rain shower head and normal shower, soap, shampoo and conditionner. You can even make your shower a hammam !!!
I had booked a 30 min deep tissue massage. The therapist came in the ladies' lounge to found me. The massage was really great. Heated table, candles, dim light... Everything was perfect.
Overall, couldn't expect a better experience. Really amazing place.
Microdermabrasion by Indira was awesome!. Great service and kind receptionist. One problem, no product testers and at the prices they charge for products, I would have love to have some testers.
Chicago's best SPA. Spa space is by far the BEST SPA I been to in Chicago.........And the service was PERFECT!!!!!
