Really Bad Catering. We have ordered from Ranalli's on Clark and Chicken Vesuvio dish was swimming in a funky souce that looked terrible. None of my guest wanted to eat that dish. Also, who ever ate the salad we ordered from Ranalli's complained of a stomach ache...I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Quick Easy and Inexpensive!. I dined in at Ranallis and had a blast. The wait staff was friendly, fun, and respectful. The full bar didn't hurt either!! Can't wait to go back!
worst food since I can't remember when. I chose to eat here, as the menu was varied, it was a good location, and has free parking and a wide selection of draft beer. The service was good, the food mediocre. The bbq chicken was overcooked, the chicken vesuvio was shocking in appearance. It was 2 grilled chicken breasts and potatoes covered in a tasteless, beige, gelatinous gravy. The meal tasted as bad as it looked. The sauteed spinach looked and tasted like it came from a can. The vegetarian lasagna looked great, but it was also disappointing. It had overcooked veggies and hardly any pasta. The vesuvio was quickly and politely replaced with a turkey burger that also missed the mark. Be warned the wine is served in "thimbles".
best explosion for your buck.
you have to admit, this is a true stoners dream. they are open till like five am on weekends. the thin crust is delightful, but the thick crust is better than (well almost) better than well you know... the buffalo wings aren't anything great but the pizzas themselves were filling and worth the hour delivery wait.
peace
don't bother.... I went to this sports bar (?) last monday night (mar 6). I just moved to the area and wanted to have a few beers. Well the beers were overpriced, and the food was too. I had a slice of pizza and it was tasteless and cold. If you're looking for the typical hot waitresses and bartenders that you find at other sports bars, don't look here. All in all, I left relatively happy, because the bartender was busy chatting and she forgot to charge me for a couple drinks.
This popular Lincoln Park pizza spot gets a lively crowd for pizza, beer and Sunday brunch..
In Short
The sunken patio a few feet below busy Clark Street is a hot spot in warm weather. Inside, the large space has a small bar in front, with TVs tuned to local sports. The Italian menu includes some sandwiches and Mexican specialties, but pizza is the hit here. Choose from thin, pan-style, or stuffed pies with traditional toppings. The double-decker features cheese and toppings on two levels.
