The name of this North Side boutique couldn't be more fitting. These wares, sporting cute packaging and portable sizing ideal for gift bags, are designed to tempt the glam girly-girl. The hodgepodge of products--from plastic dashboard hula girls to floral-scented bath and body toiletries--demands time for browsing, as one's attention turns to one surprise after another. One minute a red picnic basket handbag catches the eye; another, a pair of dangling, iridescent opal earrings. With so many babies in the neighborhood, mommies can make a quick toy run here before a birthday party, too.

cute store with a great staff. a friend of mine clued me in on this cute little boutique in roscoe village. the store owner instantly greeted me when i walked in and made me feel very welcome. i thought they had a really interesting selection of items without being too overwhelmed, and everything i always buy here gets a compliment! a great little boutique on an interesting strip!

User review by gmrm. I started shopping at glam to Go about 4 years ago, and they have never disppointed. The great thing about this place is how long you can spend here, looking at all the cute and unique gifts. I love their cards and my husband bought me a beautiful watch from them a few years back. It's also an incredibly pleasant place to just be in, the colors are warm, and the people are very friendly. I wish I lived closer!

Little selection; too sure of their own worth. Skip it. There are many more lovely shops on Armitage, Southport and downtown. This place has too little of a selection, has help that seems to prefer some customers to others, and the prices don't reflect this out-of-the way location.

i love glam to go. i have been a roscoe village resident for over four years, and glam to go is my staple shopping place for gifts (or to spoil myself!). it is the most dreamy place on earth, where you are greeted with such warmth and leave with the cutest stuff ever. i love the girls that work there, jenny and sam, and they never forget a name or face. that is a huge part of why their clientele is so faithful - incredible service, adorable and luxurious items. i will always, always shop there - glam to go is the best place in chicago!!

Good to Go at Glam to Go. I love this little store. Each time I've been in, the woman who owns it is there working. She is so sweet and helpful. There is definately no boutique snobbery here. The store is full of things you can't find anywhere else, from jewelry and accessories to bath products. Check it out.

Easy stop for gifts. This store has handmade soap, with different patterns on them. I bought one with flamingos, a cheetah pattern and one with fruit smells in it and gave them as a gift. It was very well received and I think gals would find the purse selection interesting. There were lots of accessories too.
