A classy, corporate-chic steakhouse with a bustling bar scene, flooded with natural light and a stunning cityscape through 16-foot-high windows. Comfy black leather booths line the walls of the circular dining room. Under classically trained Chef John Hogan, the kitchen brings new life to old favorites. Coated in panko bread crumbs, fried calamari is a discovery, meltingly tender and delicious. Red-meat lovers choose from a half-dozen cuts, including juicy sirloin and lightly marbled rib eye. Sides go beyond the typical: Peas, sweet and fragrant with leek cream, bacon and pearl onions and…
Great for Parties

Would highly recommend Keefer's for a party.
Was planning my mom's 75th birthday and stumbled across this restaurant on the web. Photos looked nice, etc. -- that's all I knew of the place. Our whole group was blown away by the food -- large portions, cooked exactly how each of us wanted. They had us in a private room with its own entrance (Keefer's Kafe), which was quaint and comfortable. Servers were personable and attentive.
Prices were excellent and they have the lowest "minimum" for a party of any of the restaurants I contacted. Downside -- they charge a $100 server fee and had a mandatory 20% tip. This put the cost of service at 28% of the total tab. The service was great but 28% is quite high.
- Pros: Great Food, Awesome Environment, Excellent Service
- Cons: 20% Tip Required on top of $100 Server Charge
Head to Harry Carys across the street

Service ok,
Tuna steak mushy, fatty, bland in flavor
Baked Spud no better than a Ryans steak house
Do yourself a favor and head to Cap Grill or Harry Cary's across the street
Carys is hands down better and has ambience, this place is sterile and way over hyped
blahhhhh
- Pros: location
- Cons: fish, steak, sides, all below average
Great in small groups, not so much in large groups
by myers1 at Citysearch
I've eaten here a few times, in small groups (4-6) and in a large group (15-20). When in a small group, the food is amazing. My filets when I've eaten in small groups have been the best I've ever had.
When in a large group for a company party, while the service was impeccable (my wine glass did not go empty!) and the appetizers delicous, the steak suffered. My filet was well done (I'd ordered medium rare) and it did not have the preparation I had asked for. The sides and desserts are still delicious though. Great creamed spinach, great house salad with bibb lettuce and some Belgian endive on the side.
