My experiance on the Odyssey was Unforgetable! And 1000% Amazing. My fiance(boyfriend at the time) planned a dinner cruise for us and it was unbelivable! THE staff, crew, Manager were all impecable. They knew my fiance was going to propose and made it very special for us. But the waitress her name is MAY she was incrediable, the ship was full and she had her tables full but she treated us like we were her ONLY guest, it wasnt like i had to say "wheres my waitress cause she was on top of it" The food, lord how do i describe that food!!!! in one word HEAVEN! When we got on the ship we were greated by the staff asking to take our picture the hostess was so curtious and polite. I will never ever FORGET how special they made my PROPOSAL night for me, just 10000000% what ever woman hopes hers will be, they were so supportive and wonderful to help Kevin make that happen! They had set up a table on the observation deck, under spotlights with a beautiful table cloth and rose peatls and i sighn that said"reserved", so no one would sit there untill my fiance was ready to purpose. When he did our waitress knew and came up and started taking pictures, I actually have pictuers of him proposing to me. Down on one knee and everything. As a female that is very important to me, not many people capture that on camera! After i said "yes" May was still the BEST WAITRESS possiable. Insted of us going back down stairs to eat our AMAZING CHOCOLATE CAKE, she said " ill bring it up here" which was amazing considering how busy she was but like i said she made us feel like we were her only guest! :) The band was incredable, the singer was right on key plus she had her on style! I love it and cant wait to go back for our 1 year anniversary, THANKYOU MAY ! And to all the incrediable staff that made this girls DREM PROPOSAL COME TRUE, I FELT LIKE I WAS IN A MOVIE !!!!!!

My wife and I were vacationing in Chicago, considering we have not had an opportunity to really get away together in our 5 years of being married; we were looking forward to the opportunity greatly.

We saw the Odyssey II at the dock and wanted to take a cruise, however, we were not sure how to go about doing so. We checked their website on the internet and called a representative that night, which was easy and efficient. We booked a lunch cruise on the Odyssey II. We were very impressed from beginning to end of the cruise and enjoyed the experience so much.

Our server was friendly, courteous, and an amazing host. The food was truly outstanding and probably the best food and dining experience I have ever had. The entire crew was friendly and amazing the entire time. My wife and I both agreed that the cruise was by far the best thing about our trip to Chicago.

The cruise was well worth the money we spent, which really was not a lot of money for the incredible experience we had. We would definitely do it again and would definitely recommend Odyssey cruise services.

Simply the Best!. Extraordinary Venue and Views, as well as exceptional food and service. Enjoyed the beautiful City scape of Chicago with my two daughters - AWESOME! Highly recommend and will definitely go again this summer!

Best Dining Experience. I took a friend for her 30th birthday and it was a birthday she will never forget. All the crew members were very polite and the service was excellent. Your glass of what every beverage you prefered was never empty. The food and the entertainment were also excellent. Most importantly was the experience of dining on the crusie ship. I would highly recommend it to anyone for any occasion. We took the Sunday brunch cruise. It was incredible!

Relaxing Sunday Brunch Cuise. My husband I went on the odyssey for the sunday brunch I must say we were empressed there food was great the staff very friendly we had a table for two.The band was great as well they sung a variety of music to accomodate everyone the atmosphere was wonderful it was what we expected and then some for a brunch cruise.

Was Great, Until.... Most everything said previously by everyone else is true. The service, atmosphere, ambience, etc. is great.

We were attending a 20th anniversary party and the "singer" who announced the special occasions really screwed up my party's announcement. Namely, she mentioned the wife's name but not the husband's.

When informed about it, the "singer" didn't apologize so much as blame it on "the person who wrote the announcements".

A lot of money was paid for a ruined evening.

Pros: Most of the staff was attentive, good food & drink, atmosphere, cleanliness

Cons: Expensive, close tables, Lousy Band.

Attentive staff, great cruise, food and entertainment. We cruised in Chicago on the Odyssey this past weekend. The attentive staff, good food and great entertainment made it a special evening for us. The waters were calm and the views were beautiful. It was topped off with an awesome fireworks display. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and recommend the cruise aboard the Odyssey for a special night out!

An awesome way to see the city. We went on a dinner cruise on the Odyessy were impressed with the entire event. The boat looked great and felt like dining in a nice restaurant within the city. However, the views were better than anywhere in the city. It gives you a completely different perspective of the skyline and when the sun goes down, it is really neat to see the city light up. In addition to the amazing views, the food was great and so was the service. The wait staff took extra care to ensure we had everything we needed. The live band and was also a nice touch. They were a talented, upbeat jazz group that played some fun songs. Overall we had a great time on the Odyessy. It's a great option for doing something out of the ordinary and is a great way to view / experience the city.

Great celebration place for 2. My husband and I celebrated our 1 yr wedding anniversary here during a Saturday brunch cruise. It was great! All the staff was very friendly. We received complimentary champagne, as did everyone else. The buffet food was pretty good and very plentiful. It was refreshed and available during the entire 2hr cruise so you could eat when you wanted as many times as you wanted.

The views of the city were great, the ship was very clean and nicely decorated. I would highly recommend it for a celebration for 2. Only not so great thing, was the tables were very close together. But on a beautiful day, you'll probably be outside enjoying the observation deck most of the time anyway. We definately got our money's worth!

P.S Skip the $25 window seat option (there are great views from every seat and you'll be outside most of the time anyway). Skip the $20 photo, bring your own camera, plenty of people offered to take our picture.
