The Scene – It's everything you expect from Bar Louie--great bar food, laid-back atmosphere--but bigger. No outdoor seating, but French doors in front open out to the sidewalk. – – The Food – Muffalettas, wings and--mmm, chicken Vesuvio sandwiches--round out the bounteous menu of bar food.

Go for a Franchise

If you want to avoid the college crowd it is best to come during the summer months or during the day when their all in class. The group I was with had a pleasant lunch here, the staff were accommodating if not attentive. Everyone enjoyed their meal, no bad experiences. Food was well prepare and good. Dining area is clean and roomy. I would go back for lunch again.

Popular College Hangout

This restaurant and bar has become real popular with the students of North Central College, which is a two block walk away. Later in the evenings and on weekend this place is crowded with college students. If this type of crowd annoys you then don't go here. The food is good, service is OK and the prices are reasonable for the area. Restaurant is clean and willing to accommodate large groups on short notice.
