In Short – White collar types fill this deli at lunch, lining up at the counter and grabbing tables in the small dining area. Charming family photos and mellow red, green and white walls give the place a homey feel. The menu features fresh, tasty Italian subs, salads, soups and wraps; favorites include a vegetarian sandwich with roasted peppers, grilled zucchini and marinated eggplant, plus the Milano sub with salami, mortadella, cappiccola, provolone and black olive spread.

Great find!!

Having recently read a great review about Delicatezza in Crain's Chicago Business I decided to try check it out. What a great find! The sandwiches are excellent, especially the Chicken Parmigiano and the Milano. You can actually taste the meats and the fancy olive spread they use on the Milano. And the bread was fresh and crusty, like the Italians do it - not spongy and doughy like at Subway or Quizno's. As the review mentioned the salad are fresh and they're made to order, so I've found that changes are welcome. I haven't tried their wraps yet, but from the people sitting at the table next to me they looked very good and heathy. I'm going to suggest Delicatezza catering for our next office meeting. Would highly recommend.

As good as in Italy!

Extremely fresh and authentic Italian food (wraps & sandwiches). I'm European and I know what good Italian cuisine tastes like. This is the place! Looking forward to visiting Chicago and Delicatezza again soon!
