The menu doesn't miss a beat at this West Town follow up to the Avondale restaurant known for classic, affordable Thai.. In Short
Diners come as they are to this casual storefront with creamy walls topped with elaborate, glinty Thai artwork. All the classics are represented on the menu, starting with chicken satay, Vietnamese spring rolls and mee krob. In-the-know diners, however, start with the 7 Buddies, a ginger-bosted melange of crispy coconut, peanuts, dried shrimp, shallots and lime wrapped in lettuce leaves and drizzled with savory sauce. Among entrees, catfish and eggplant pad ped floating in red curry scores points. Also of note are the homemade icy drinks, available in flavors like banana, watermelon and avocado.

Good food. I love thai food, and though the menu lacks some of the more adventurous dishes, the standard fare is quite good.

Modest Thai spot that's a Wicker Park favorite for takeout and delivery.. In Short
Delivery and pickup are the big draws at this casual Thai place, though the room boasts 20 tables and a handful of bar seats for dine-in customers. The menu offers an array of more than 70 meat, seafood and vegetarian items: from pad thai and cashew chicken to panang curry and pad woo sen (bean thread noodles with veggies). To drink, there's Thai iced coffee, while desserts include custard and taro pearls.

Awesome Thai-Best in Chicago. I love this restaurant.The food is always fresh and he uses an abundance of vegetables and light on the sauces.I have eaten at many places around the world and this is one of my favorites.I usually order the Thai Basil Fried Rice,Fried tofu,Chicken Satay and the Basil Beef.He uses fresh Basil,Fresh mushrooms and the sauces for the Tofu and the Chicken Satay are a peanut base and they are outstanding.Their lunch specials start at 5.xx,most of Sunny"s dinner entre's are about 7.00.Tell Sunny,Joe sent you.P.S. if you are a vegetarian he will make up special food for you.Portions are large enough for two meals.
