The Scene
This is the second shoe store opened by the owners of Battaglia, an established downtown spot for well-made Italian shoes. The minimalist modern design of this tiny shop turns the focus to the shoes.
The Goods
Shop for classic or contemporary casual and dressy men's and women's Italian shoes and boots (all under private label). Prices are high, but not outrageous, and sizes are mostly medium (not much in the way of narrow or wide). A small amount of back stock usually doesn't hold popular styles. For men, sophisticated bowling shoes are popular, while women go for heels with pointed toes. Colors in vogue include black, red and brown.
