Yuki Hana. Great sushi, great staff, beautiful place for a date or big gathering. Highly recommend the dragon roll, spider roll and definitely the calamari!
Not impressed.
My boyfriend and I had an hour and forty movies before we had to be to the Century Theater for a movie.
We thought that was plenty of time. And since the restuarant wasn't crowded, we decided to give it a try.
Yea right.
Service took forever. The waitress was rude, absent minded, and sloooow. The food wasn't anything worth raving about and the udon noodles were really bad. Deserts looked good but we didn't have time to confirm this.
I was left with the bill as my boyfriend dashed to the mall to get our movie tickets. I waited ten minutes for the bill, and that was afrer our table was cleared. Another ten minutes passed before she returned the credit card and recite. Missed the movie credits, barely making it in time for the film.
Don't bother. Pan asian places are a dime a donzen in this neighborhood, and this one fails.
Great cheap sushi place. This place is great. Its cheap and delicious with lots of different combos to try. Its BYOB but also has liquor there. Delicious
fresh sushi, reasonable prices. This is the perfect weekday sushi spot with it's low-key environment and moderate prices for excellent, fresh sushi. I've been there several times and they always deliver with fresh nigiri and great maki--both the old stand-by rolls and many more creative ones. The service is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere isn't anything special and I wouldn't go with a group of more than 6 or 8 due to the small size but Yuki Hana is one of my regular neighborhood sushi spots and I would recommend it to anyone!
Low-key storefront sushi spot on the Clark Street strip..
In Short
A young Lakeview crowd dominates in this comfortable space, which is decorated with colorful prints and modern blue track lighting. The expansive pan-Asian menu features starters like edamame and big, flaky spring rolls. Chinese food lovers can choose from classics like sesame chicken, Mongolian beef and cashew shrimp. Sushi choices are abundant: nearly 30 nigiri options, plus a couple dozen maki, including spicy octopus; crispy salmon skin; and decadent lobster tempura roll.
