“It was awesome to be able to watch the game in a place with a cool lounge atmosphere- I can't stand sports bars!”
“It's over crowded for such a small space and the drink specials aren't great.”
“This is a great bar to go to Sunday-Thursday because they have great food and drink specials on week nights but the weekends are hell.”
“one good thing about the place - good dj.”
“The bartender and waitress were both super cool and we even ended up staying to watch the Simpsons.”

Any crazy night out in Wicker Park should conclude here--especially if it's Saturday, when a DJ spins and a raucous 80s dance party ensues.
Decent wings on Mondays. I have only been here for wings on Mondays when they are 25 cents/wing. Used to seemingly be all the wings you felt like for 25 cents/each, now they have some requirements: 2 drink minimum (includes soda) and max 12 wings per person at a time (in other words, you can get 12 and then order another 6 or 12 when your order comes). I still like the Jamaican-jerk and hot (made with Louisiana Hot sauce), so I will probably go back again a few times at least.
Good thin-crust pizza and groovy ambience draw locals to this Wicker Park lounge..
The Scene
The flashing yellow and purple sign outside may read "wine and dine," but the bar is definitely more hipster hangout than dining destination. Lava lamps bubble and soft blue banquettes beckon in the stylish, low-lit space; 20-somethings chill at the bar or play foosball or Golden Tee; couples get cozy in intimate booths towards the back.
The Draw
Again, despite the above-mentioned sign, don't be fooled--the food menu's mostly typical bar bites, and the wine list is a mere five reds and five whites by the glass. Skip the so-so starters (wings, spinach dip), though, and you'll find tasty stuff like baked grinders and surprisingly good thin-crust pizza. The firm, buttery crust stays crisp and holds plenty of toppings; try coq au vin or barbecue chicken specialty pies, or create your own from a list of standard toppings.
Avoid the weekend crowd. This is a great bar to go to Sunday-Thursday because they have great food and drink specials on week nights but the weekends are hell. It's over crowded for such a small space and the drink specials aren't great. Sunday nights are my favorite
NEVER HOST A PARTY HERE!. DON'T HAVE A PARTY HERE - SO MANY BETTER DEALS IN THE CITY!!!! the basement party room smells and requires you to go upstairs to get drinks if the servers aren't around (what a pain). the managers/organizers are not very good at their jobs and fail to tell you all of the details. $40 a person doesn't even get you top shelf! one good thing about the place - good dj. however, suffering through the rest is not worth it!
I InnJoyed this bar greatly. My girlfried and I were looking for a place to watch the game and fight off our hangovers a few Sundays ago and we came across Inn Joy. We'd never been there before but I have been back every Sunday since then. The bloody marys were the best I've ever had- even better than my own! It was awesome to be able to watch the game in a place with a cool lounge atmosphere- I can't stand sports bars! The service was excellent and fast even though it was crowded. The bartender and waitress were both super cool and we even ended up staying to watch the Simpsons. Run, don't walk, to check this place out if you've never been here.
