Best salon experience in Evanston!. I started to going to Trio a couple of years ago after another well-known salon in Evanston had improperly bleached my hair and caused it to break off at the back. I started working with Barbara, who worked closely with me not just on getting my color to just the shade I like but also on rebuilding my hair's condition. The difference between my hair then and my hair now is often commented on by people I know - even one of my longtime guy friends, who is not really into fashion or beauty, told me after not seeing me for a few months how much better condition my hair was in! I have had to keep my hair short for a long time because it was in such bad condition, but now I have been able to grow it out to well past my shoulders.

The overall experience at Trio is really unmatched - there is always someone friendly to help you make an appointment and greet you at the door. I am treated more like a longtime friend than just a client. I always look forward to my appointments - it also doesn't hurt that Barbara is a big hockey fan like me and we can have a lot of Blackhawks chat when I go!! I really recommend going to see her at Trio for anyone who is looking for a new colorist.

Oustanding experience at Trio. Katharina was wonderful...welcoming and inquisitive, so as to give me just the cut I wanted (without my necessarily knowing/prescribing it)! I am rather low maintenance with hair, but was looking for a stylish, professional cut. Katharina really impressed me. Trio is modern without being pretentious--I've found a fabulous salon, tucked in the burbs. Yay!

NOT IMPRESSED. First let me say the people there are about as nice as you can get.

I have tried for 4 times now to get the color I want. Each time with the same picture. It's nothing complicated. Seriously. Yet..it just isn't going to happen. This last time I got skunk blond streaks in my med. brunette hair. I was not told about the blond part. I assume people who are colorists, should have some knowledge about what color looks good with what skin tone, no?

I just can't go there anymore.

FANTASTIC!. I've had my hair colored everywhere, and JADA has done the best color for me EVER! She has a very thoughtful and thorough approach, and her talent is AMAZING! The whole TRIO experience is great from the phone call to make the appointment til the very end. Great, great service in a very happy and well run salon.

The World's chicest hair cut. On a tip from a good friend of mine, whose hair always looks great, I visited Trio in Evanston...My friend recommended Kathy and I was so pleased. Kathy spent plenty of time talking to me about my hair, what I wanted as she checked out my hair from front to back, up and down. The experience was great. My hair looked fantastic, very stylish and shiney. Everyone asks me where I get my hair cut. I really lucked out.

Lived up to its great reviews!. My girlfriend suggested going to Barbara for my hair coloring. She said she was a genius at color. I am so delighted with the results. Barbara IS a color genius! Plus, I got the best haircut and style from Kathy.I have my next appointment tomorrow. It is worth the drive to Evanston.

Love KATHARINA!!. Great styling, great haircut! I had always been pulling a pony tail and showing my forehead, but this time I wanted to change to blunt bangs. Katharina totally got it. She did very careful but still very creative styling to my hair. Now I look like a totally different person - in a younger and more beautiful way! This was my first time with TRIO and I fell in love with it.

Get your color at TRIO Evanston!. Phil is THE MAN when it comes to hair color. He listens carefully and then gives his expert advice. The result is a great collaboration between what's going to look good and what works for me in terms of cost and maintenance. I've been going to him for about 8 years and continue to be thrilled! The ultimate sign of success -- people constantly tell me my hair looks great!
