What People Are Saying About Foundry

In Short – Part sports bar, part restaurant with plenty of diversions thrown in, the Foundry is constructed from steel and brick, giving the West Suburban spot has an industrial vibe. A few steps down from the main level is a bar area with a wall of 18 12-foot televisions and a game area with darts, billiards and shuffleboard. For a more intimate experience, people head to the Foreman's Platform where they can still see the wall of TVs.
Pretty cool place

So I guess I had better luck than most of the other reviewers because the bartenders at the bar I was sitting at were pretty nice...one was actually friendly! The atmosphere was cool and casual. The televisions against the wall were huge...it was a wall of TV's...I have never seen anything like it. I didn't partake in the OTB, darts, billiards, etc but loved the fact that I had options and probably will next time. The only complaint I had was that it was Saturday night and the only sound in there was coming from one of the college football games that was on one of the huge screens...it's Saturday night...PUT SOME GOOD MUSIC ON!!!!
- Pros: HUGE televisions
- Cons: Didn't play music
Great place to meet a ton of your friends at

Talk about room to spare. I was tired of cramming into those small corporate bars where all of your money goes to some other state. New managers have taken over.... it is locally owned...... at least that what my friend told me.
I had heard of The Foundry but was told it was a little high in price. Are you kidding me? The downtown Naperville scene is what is over priced these days. And, you might as well count on getting pulled over by the local black and whites down there. Guess they make a ton off DUI's every year. $3.50 for most mixed drinks and a 32oz mug for $4.00 you can't beat that!
We had a pizza which was surprisingly good. Great band playing on the Friday we went. Definately a must return!
- Pros: Plenty of room to meet with friends, great prices!
- Cons: took a while to get a beer, but the place is HUGE
Dissappointed and uncomfortable

I can see how people would think this place is a great sports bar, but the TV's are dated, the service was awful, and the prices are absolutely ridiculous. The seating is terrible, and many often find themselves standing trying to get a decent view of a game. Another interesting thing I noticed and had recently heard is that it has started to pick up a gay crowd. Not that it is terrible, just not my scene.
