The Scene
Located in Santa Monica's two fashionista districts, Main Street and Montana Avenue, Yoga Works attracts the young, the beautiful and the well-preserved. The Main Street location features one studio that still feels like a garage, albeit a peaceful one, even after many renovations. The Montana outpost, situated on the second floor, has two small studios that fill up quickly.
The Workout
Even after losing several star teachers, this yoga palace still has fans. Flow vinyasa yoga dominates, especially in level two and three classes. Expect several series of the basic flow series, transitioning to standing poses, including variations of triangle, warrior, tree and royal dancer. Floorwork with backbends, twists and inversions are also included. Level one classes offer more instruction than most advanced classes, but it depends on the teacher. Some instructors are all about the flow, while others, especially those with an Iyengar bent, offer more guidance.

It does not matter if you are 10 or 100 there is a class for everyone. Quality classes with instructors that are very knowledgable.
