Exceptional food and service. We were staying at the InterContinentall Chicago O'Hare for a seminar. Floods scared us off from driving to our favorite seafood restaurant in the suburbs. We walked a block to Gibson's after remembering having a dinner there years ago. It was better than I remembered. The wait staff was on-the-spot with anything and everything. Even advised that the side portions are so large, that two could easily share (they were right, we couldn't eat it all between the two of us!). My husband had the prime rib which was out of this world, and I had the lake perch that melted in your mouth. This is our new favorite restaurant when in town.

Best steak ever. The WR steak was the best steak I ever had. I will definately return when in Chicago. Great service also.

great steaks and service. on 4/28/07 we went to gibsons after the david copperfield show. it was approx. 11:30 and felt like having a cocktail before ending the evening. we went in to the bar and it was very crowded, so we asked if the restaurant was still open. very nicely they said yes even though they were probably going to close soon. we said we just wanted a quick drink and they asked if we were going to dine. we told them no, because we knew they probably closing. they said don't worry at all.to make a long story short,the waiter was fantastic,the steak and the crab cake were done perfect,shrimp cocktail huge, etc. all in all a pleasant suprise from someone who goes to many steak houses, but have never been to gibson's. keep up the great work !!!

Yummy steak. We had reservations at 8pm and when we arried we were seated exactly on time,the place is very very crowded and attracts a large crowd and a known place for celebrities who dined there. Of course you can tell if your someone with money that you will get exceptional service.The food is awesome and the waiter was more than helpful and knew his stuff.I had the W.R chicago cut steak which was very tender and cooked to perfection and my wife was very happy with her order of fish.the only downfall is that it is too crowded and people shove and push as they walk.Expect an everage check for two to reach $150 including everything.overall great restaurant and would go back.liked the atmosphere.

Great food!. This is a wonderful place to go before an event at Rosemont Theater. The food is great and the staff will work to accomodate your show time. Worth every penny!

Awesome charred steaks!!! Big desserts are mouth watering!!!. The staff is on top of everthing from emptying ashtrays to drink recollection to face recognition. This restaurant has knowledegble employees who take pride in their service & food. Arrive early, stay late! And the Good looking women at the door is always a plus...

Best restaurant in the suburbs. Best service, best food, best bar scene. No contest anywhere outside of downtown and it surpasses 99 percent downtown restaurants. Just a great place.

Get Your Appetite Ready!. Our first experience at Gibsons in Rosemont was on our honeymoon in May 2000. We had a layover in Chicago, called a limo, & got the driver's opinion for dinner. He definitely "steered" us in the right direction! The service given to us by Bill was more than delightful. Bill impressed us with the display of meats available as well with the description of their qualities. You won't leave Gibson's hungry nor will your palate be unsatisfied. We love Gibson's so much we took our family there for Christmas in 2000 as well. Again, Bill catered to our every whim including a dessert "piled to the sky" that fed all six of us! Enough couldn't be said about this establishment.
