Huge electronics store that you can spend all day at if you have to. There are even a few interactive things for kids to play with like a giant bubble making loop, and a spinning granite globe.

Best prices and customer service. Abt Electronics has the best prices and their customer service can't be beat. It's no surprise their store is so big.

I purchased a dryer from them. Their price was better than I could find on the internet locally, delivery was quick and the guys were careful when they carried in and hooked up the dryer.

I highly recommend them.

The Very Best in Customer Service. I have had some of the Best customer service ever from Abt. Thank you John Samp for using such a great towing service and taking care of the small problem I created by mistake. Abt is the very best place to shop.

IF YOU WANT YOUR WATER LINE PINCHED, GIVE ABT A CALL!!!. ABT is the most DISHONEST company that I have ever came across. The owner has even testified UNDER OATH and LIED about what their employees had done! IF YOU WANT YOUR WATER LINE PINCHED AND YOU WANT YOUR HOME DESTROYED, then call ABT. You will certainly get it.

Incredible Customer Service!. I had an issue with a refurbished Westinghouse LCD TV I'd purchased online back in July '07. After getting cable I realized my TV had something wrong with it as no video was showing and there was a "This Channel Blocked" message. I called Westinghouse directly and they were great but could only offer phone numbers to repair shops in the area since I was out of warranty. I called ABT first and though they told me right off that they couldn't work on my TV since I didn't buy it there, they researched the owners manual while I was one the phone, asked me set-up question on my cable box and came up with a work-around that allowed my cable come through without the blockage message! I was so thankful for their help, I signed up on CitySearch just to write this review!

This Glenview institution has everything electronic your high-tech heart could desire.. The Scene
The unremarkable department store architecture belies the bleeding-edge gadgetry stocked on the 100,000-square-foot showroom. Abt always has plenty of customers, who are almost outnumbered by the veritable army of employees dashing about. A back wall displays autographed celebrity photos, including Tony Kukoc and Bill Clinton.

The Goods
The main showroom is full to bursting with home electronics, kitchen appliances and even furniture. There's a wall of camcorders pointed at a giant aquarium, several home theater display areas with giant flat-screen TVs and vibrating chairs, ranks of cool steel stoves and dishwashers (somehow, even the kitchen appliances look sexy), and tons of cell phones. Pretty much all the major brands are featured here for prices from $100 boomboxes to $15,000 gas grills. A bonus is that Abt delivers (usually for free) to anywhere in Chicago and have more than 50 home installation teams.
