“We have spent MUCH more out in Chicago and have not received such delicious food or excellent service.”

Wonderful, cozy neighborhood. Bistro Campagne is exactly what a neighborhood french restaurant should feel like: cozy, approachable, a bit bustling. It's got a menu full of French classics - don't skip the escargot.
Best Brunch Ever. I'm afraid to write this review, that the place will be taken over. I had brunch there recently and it was amazing, even better than another favorite, Tre Kronor. Everyone at the table agreed the food quality was outstanding (the best quiche, and best bacon I have ever had, bar none). The tables are a bit close, but the multiple small rooms feel cozy. Service was ok, not outstanding, not bad. No wait at prime time on a Sunday, which was a bonus. A little more than you'd pay somewhere else, but worth it.
Raw. 1/3 of my pork chop was served raw, while the rest cooked. They need to take the table away from the door because it was freezing. The wait was not 1 hour, but 20 minutes or less. Service was infrequent and poor. The restaurant manager was arrogant, probably because of the nice crowd and great reviews.
Go here.. Completely perfect - this is the most exquisite brunch you will find in Chicago. The atmosphere is topped only by the food. Wait for a warm Sunday afternoon and sit on the terrace.
Good. I had one of the most delicious pieces of chicken here and was slightly disappointed by the small cheese selection (they call it cheese selection and then you can hardly find the cheese amongst the tons of fruit, crackers, nuts and other paraphernalia). The dining room has suffered from the addition of the bar, although the selection of wines there is original. The garden remains great and is a definite selling point.
