Fun Place!. Great times. I've been loving this tavern for over 20 years. Best bar food anywhere, ice cold beer and sweet staff. Karaoke is a blast, but I think I like the weekday lunch the best. Always leave with a smile.

I bought the bar 12 years ago it because I loved the neighborhood-family feel. It's still there. Come see.

worst bar ever. 1st time we went there there was a fat mexican beating his girlfriend in the middle of the bar they were throwing drinks at eachother swearing profanitys and being very disrespectful to everyone there.no one even called the cops or tried to stop it so we left and called them on our way out...2nd time we were there some poor fool was playing pool and accidently bumped into a table near by and got a pool cue broken over his head.. 3rd and final time we went there a guy started a fight with us before we even walked into the door..there will be 4 or 5 people there on a sat night the bartender looks like she is strung out there is no security at all the bar is a unsafe and dangerous place to go..and the servers are terrable they dont care about their customers safty or needs you have to wait forever to get a drink..bathroom looks like something you would find on the south side in a gas station. the place is dirty the customers are violent drunks and the bartenders need to learn to bartend..im sorry kellie lets her bar be controlled by local gangs and by bartenders who are more worried about where their next fix will come from and not about their customers...i cant begin to describe the disappointment the cuckoos nest has become..all them peole who describe this place as a comfertable and welcome place are completly wrong disregard all reviwes but this one they must be friends with the owner or something..

As the owner, I am mortified if this was truely your experience. I have never faced this kind of vicious defamation of my establishment and am unsure of what to say to you sir. Methinks you are a dirty competitor or someone whom I fired about the time of this review.

A Cary HOTSPOT!!!. Comfortable, down to earth atmosphere! Goodlooking, nice, friendly bartenders. Karaoke on Friday with the best & great bands on Saturday. Best local Cary pub! & THE PRICE IS RIGHT!

McHenry County has a lil known hot pub where music and friends gather to relax.. A little place where friends can gather, have a toast to the good life and relax in an atmosphere with Live music on weekends, karaoke, Chicago style pizza, pool and darts. There are a lot of local bands that make their debut performances here and go on to become some of the midwest's best acts. The are always evolving new acts and performances to keep the place lively and fun. It's an easy place to find by train or car. The have beautiful bartenders that are polite and professional. When visiting Chicago and ou wants to go out to a quaint local pub for an great evening, then definitely stop in have have a toast to the burbs. You might run across Lane Barrett and the Sparky Blues Band performing live. Hope to see you there!

Karaoke Kingdom!. This is a great place for karaoke, and I?ve seen quite a few. The guy running it, better known as Hat-man, is cool and his songbooks are great. Ask him and he?ll set up a game of crash and burn. (You know, the sing a random song and pick a random song for the next singer. You?ll have a blast and he?ll join the game if you ask him.) The service is wonderful and the food is even better. Try the chicken sandwiches and the cheese burgers there and soon you?ll find yourself stopping in on days there?s no karaoke.

First timer..... turned regular!.
Found this place through their myspace page. Went in on a Friday after work, met some regulars who convinced me to try a burger. I was quite happy they did! The burger was big, juicy & wonderful!! Decided to stick around for karaoke..... stayed late into the night and had a ball! This may be a small town bar & grill, but the food, the people the atmosphere, are all top notch! Love my new home away from home!!
The only downside I found, was the smallish bathroom.

Have a Cuckoo Day!!. When I go to Cuckoo's, I know I'll be greeted with a friendly face that'll probably call me "sweetie" or "darlin'" when asking me what I want to drink. The regulars are just that: regular people. It's a down-to-earth place to hang out, smile and laugh with people with whom you can easily see yourself being friends. The burgers are the best around, but do yourself a favor and order the Malibu Chicken. . . it's freaking awesome. The staff at Cuckoo's Nest behaves and feels like family. Karaoke on Friday night is a riot, plus the bands on Saturday night are usually pretty rockin'. If you're looking for a fun, casual atmosphere in Cary, get off the train and cross the street! I love Kelli's Cuckoo's Nest!

You'll be pleasantly suprised!.
This place is a diamond in the rough. The food is in a class of it's own concerning bar food (fresh burgers made daily) and the patrons are a very friendly bunch.
If you are looking for a 'Cheers' type neighborhood tavern, look no further.
I love this bar!
