In Short – A strip-mall mainstay throughout U.S. suburbs, this buffet-style restaurant caters to ravenous families who pay a flat per-head fee for all the comfort food they can chow down. Serving stations present everything from fried chicken to shrimp scampi, macaroni and cheese to steamed veggies. A do-it-yourself dessert bar allows diners to make their own sugary indulgence from a supply of brownies and cakes, syrupy toppings and multiple flavors of soft-serve ice cream.
Good soup / salad bar
by Bobq
The soup & salad bar is very good for the money. I think it was under $6.00, and you can't buy lunch for that price (includes drink).
The heated food had been sitting out for a while, and was dry. Both the baked fish & chicken were dry. The "fresh vegetables" tasted like they came from a can. I think they were cooked to long, and were still cooking in the holding pan.
The kids liked the pizza, and they loved the dessert section.
- Pros: Plenty of food
- Cons: Hot food gets dry fast sitting in the heated pans
