All the way from Orland Park- no problem!. I discovered Giacomo's a little over a year ago and was happy to see the owners greeting us and cooking our meal. I could not believe the value! Value is hard to find at restaurants anymore. I get fresh food and prompt, polite service everytime. The restaurant is smaller than most, which results in an attentive waitstaff. The servers are very knowledgable about the ingredients and the preparation of what they serve. It is similar to going to someones home for dinner.

Hearty southern Italian crowd-pleasers have universal appeal at this packed-to-the-hilt, old-world eatery.. In Short
Brick walls and windows flanked by white columns set the tone at this boisterous "Sopranos"-style fave. Catering largely to the set with extended family in tow, the menu centers on design-your-own pasta--such as penne with marinara or linguine with vodka-cream sauce--and standbys like chicken Vesuvio, veal marsala and steak pizzaiola. The house-made pastas--spinach gnocchi, manicotti and cavatelli--are heavy hitters, too, along with seafood dishes like shrimp scampi.

Easy to talk. Great little restaurant with an amazing cook. I've been here several times and I always feel like family since this resturant is small and cozy. You get top quality service and food with this establishment. When you are finished eating you can even stop in and say, "HI" to Giacomo himself who does the cooking. So, if you are looking for a loud resturant with TV's in your face and a wait to get in the door (even if you have reservations) this may not be the place for you. Perfect place for an intimate evening with that someone special in your life. Thanks again Giacomos for making another perfect evening without feeling like I got robbed at the end.

Perfect!!!. This "ristorante" is my new favorite place for Italian. A friend recomended it, and now I thank him every time I see him. (I think he's getting tired of it)

I think I've tried everything on the menu by now.

Didn't believe the hype.... I read about this restaurant in the "best of" section of this site. Thought, "never heard of it, I'll try it". We went a few weeks ago on a Friday night, and there was a little wait, but it was well worth it. They always say, "a sign of a good restaurant is how busy they are". Well, the food explains the wait. I'll make reservations next time, simple as that.

Our Favorite Place. This is our favorite resturant. My son loves it and this is the only "adult" type resturant he begs to go to. The Owner Anna always gives us personalized attnention. You can have a romantic dinner here or bring the family and have a good time. The Gnocci is excellent and so is the Veal. The chocolate cake is like heaven, it is very rich and moist. You have to eat here to really understand how great it is.

Highly Recommended. Don't miss this restaurant! The food is amazing, the owner/chef is wonderful, the service is extraordinary. On second thought, don't go...I wanna be able to get a table when I feel like it.
