Great Food. I love the food at David's Bistro. The staff gives you 5 star customer service and the dishes are to die for. I had the scallops and it mouth watering so yummy ! Thanks

the soups are to die for... I have NEVER had a bad meal here! The soups are to die for. Great service, too! We saw the cooking lessons chef David offers and they look great and interesting!

The ravioli was delicious!. I have been coming to David's Bistro ever since it opened and I finally thought that I should start singing it's praises. First of all, the food is FANTASTIC and the customer service is friendly and if you can't make a decision they are always willing to give you a recommendation. If you have a chance to have dessert, trust me, you won't be sorry. I am highly recommending this.

great french-american cuisine. I discovered David's a little while ago when i was out in the burbs. this restuarant would not be out of place in downtown chicago, it could certainly offer some competetion to some spots down here. the food is amazing, and the menu is always electic and different. their desserts are to die for...especially this apple crumb thing? i cant remember the name. anyway, the service is great, and if you are out in the burbs, its a awesome spot for lunch! a little unknown gem, hopefully they open one up in the city soon!

Very disappointed. After reading all these reviews, I was looking forward to a good dining experience. Boy! it was such a major letdown. We order the Duck Wonton and Escargot for appetizers, and both are very mediocre. For salad, I order the Ahi Tuna salad, which is decent. I hate the Pecan-crusted Lamb Chop I ordered. It's so dried and tasteless. The frite is soggy, and the side white bean looks like it comes from a can. This place is not worth the money.

Best food in Des Plaines. This is my wifes and mine favorite place to go. From the wine list to the menu we know when going to David's we are going to be in for the best meal we have had in a while. The service is amazing and the food is great.

Great little place for fine dining. I would never have known this place was a great restaurant if I didn't look in Citysearch first. It is located in a strip mall and the sign is not brightly lit so it is difficult to see at night. The food here is very good. It could hold it's own to some of the finest restaurants in downtown Chicago. The service is fast and friendly. I've gone here several times while staying in Glenview. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a well prepared meal.

A Touch of Class!.
My wife and I found this delightful Bistro by chance several years ago and have never been disappointed. It's a nice quiet place for a romantic or business dinner. We frequent the Sunday brunches. Our adult sons have added the David's Bristo gift certificates to our gift list.
David is a hands on chef/owner who delights in pleasing his guests. Check out his cooking classes on public access TV!
