What People Are Saying About David's Bistro
great french-american cuisine

I discovered David's a little while ago when i was out in the burbs. this restuarant would not be out of place in downtown chicago, it could certainly offer some competetion to some spots down here. the food is amazing, and the menu is always electic and different. their desserts are to die for...especially this apple crumb thing? i cant remember the name. anyway, the service is great, and if you are out in the burbs, its a awesome spot for lunch! a little unknown gem, hopefully they open one up in the city soon!
- Pros: Amazing dishes, awesome service!
- Cons: Out in the Burbs
Very disappointed

After reading all these reviews, I was looking forward to a good dining experience. Boy! it was such a major letdown. We order the Duck Wonton and Escargot for appetizers, and both are very mediocre. For salad, I order the Ahi Tuna salad, which is decent. I hate the Pecan-crusted Lamb Chop I ordered. It's so dried and tasteless. The frite is soggy, and the side white bean looks like it comes from a can. This place is not worth the money.
- Cons: mediocre food
