“Very romantic atmosphere.”
“Little did I know that all the rave meant poor service, undercooked meat, and spilled wine on my suit.”
“While the food (steak, salmon) was fabulous, the whole experience was marred by a Red Light Violation ($100) I received days later for turning right on red from River Road to Bryn Mawr.”

USDA prime beef, elegant tableside service and mammoth martinis..
In Short
With its dark wood details, celebrity photos and tuxedo-clad waiters, this upscale steakhouse chain has the air of a posh men's club. Service is professional and discreet, with bartenders making a mean martini. Dinners begin with a waiter-driven cart laden with fresh vegetables, live lobster and cuts of steak; customers choose from porterhouse, rib-eye, bone-in prime rib and more. Side dishes are traditional and enormous, from baked potatoes and creamed spinach to steamed broccoli with hollandaise.
Trouble getting to Morton's. While the food (steak, salmon) was fabulous, the whole experience was marred by a Red Light Violation ($100) I received days later for turning right on red from River Road to Bryn Mawr. I couldn't figure out what exactly I did wrong, it just said "red light violation". The video doesn't even look real-time to me, and the sign warning of a photo-enforced intersection was blocks away, placed high up where it would probably never be seen. This whole thing smacks of entrapment, and the city of Rosemont should be ashamed of itself. While Morton's cannot be responsible for the follies of local politicians, here's fair warning. DO NOT GO TO ROSEMONT unless you want to be trapped too. So that means "pass" on visiting Morton's or any other area restaurants.
skip it!!!. The entrance to this establishment is anything but inviting. You walk into a side door at the end of an office building. I got the feeling they've been around sooo long they forgot how to take care of their customers. There are other steak joints in Rosemont.
Very good, but not great. Wife and I went to Morton's for anniversary. Appetizers were great, my spinach salad good, her Caesar salad had too much dressing. Her filet was perfect, my porterhouse was fatty. Dessert was excelent. Very romantic atmosphere. Ask for a booth. Attentive staff. Very expensive.
great steakhouse.
I went to Morton's for the 1st time recently and was very impressed. I had the porterhouse steak and it was awesome and cooked to order. the side dishes were good also. esp the mashed potatoes and mushrooms.
the service was impeccable. and overall I was a very satisfied customer. You always wonder about the corporate chains and whether or not they can live up to the hype/standards that are set at their other locations. Morton's did. and as a result I will dine there again."
Airplane Food. I thought Morton's was supposed to be all the rave. Little did I know that all the rave meant poor service, undercooked meat, and spilled wine on my suit. I will not be back.
MAGNIFICENT.
I didn't want to go to a steakhouse...I don't eat red meat. I had the slamon and the wild mushrooms. OH MY GOD IT WAS TO DIE FOR!!!
For those who think it's pricey...Where else can you get food, ambiance and service that extremely perfect for less???
