Food, Service & Prices Are All There

I'm born and raised on the west side of Chicago, so I'm used to being greeted by restaurant owners and getting friendly service. When I moved out to the suburbs a couple years ago, I thought I'd be giving up the friendly service I’d enjoyed for years for corporate cookie cutter restaurants, but Gusto is proof that mom and pop restaurants can still show the franchises how it's done.
Andrew is a warm and friendly host, the food always leaves me wanting more (even when I can't eat another bite), and the prices are just right.

I know that there are a lot of homemade Italian food places to choose from in Chicago, but ... you cannot visit Chicago without eating at Gusto's. The food and hospitality is unsurpassed!!! The proscuitto, chicken parmigiana, veal marsala & lamb visuvio were incredible!!! Couple that with the hospitality from our host Andreas... an evening to remember. Reasonably priced with hearty portions make this restaurant one to visit again and again.
- Pros: reasonably priced, atmosphere
