Very UN-relaxing Mother's Day Gift.
For a Mother's Day gift, I took my sister, mom to Crystal Nails in McHenry (our 1st time there) and as it turned out, it was a mistake. After working so hard all week, we were looking forward to our relaxing "spa" day. Well, the owner's child would not allow that to happen. The poor kid (6 years old) was stuck there all day- it would drive any kid batty and unfortunately for us, he drove us batty too. Then somebody took him to the back room (maybe for lunch?) and then all you could hear was very loud screaming and laughing (it was louder than when he was in the main room).
The manicure and pedicure were OK, nothing special. So really no reason to go back, unlesss I feel like I want to babysit.
