Editorial Review for River Trail Nature Center – by

In Short
River Trail is part of the Forest Preserve District of Cook County. The sugar maple woods along the Des Plaines River are the hallmark of the three miles of trails surrounding the River Trail Nature Center. Visitors across the Chicago area come to the Center's sugar maple festival held every March. The Center also has Native American displays, an organic garden, an herb garden and a honeybee colony, the main attraction at River Trail's honey festival held each October.
