I would chose a negative number if I could.
I was a walk in to the HAIR CUTTERY January of 2012, exactly 2 months ago. My regular stylist at Anthony Valentino did not have any openings for a couple weeks and since my hair was 7 inches long and I just wanted a 1 inch trim I figured it couldn't hurt to go to a new salon. The girl who cut my hair cut the inch off of the back first and I breathed a sigh of relief that she didn't cut too much. She started to trim my bangs which were cheek length angled down my jaw line and ended up cutting them cheek length all the way back behind my right ear! 1/3 rd of my head now had hair only 1 inch in length! Things then went from bad to worse. I didn't fuss or make a stink and I didn't cry to my surprise, I thought accidents can happen and I didn’t think she did it on purpose. The manager was very apologetic. Said he would do his best to even things out and had to take all my hair off in the process. The cut was so short on the right side of my face he didn't dare to cut the left side to match. He told me to come back into the shop in 2 months’ time to give my hair a little growing time because he didn't feel comfortable with the unnatural angel that was cut. I waited exactly 2 months and went back in and was treated horribly. I was told that I was already “TREATED TO A FREE HAIRCUT” and I shouldn't continue to expect to get their services free of charge. Everybody in the shop stopped to look at me. I told them that there wasn't enough hair left after their mistake for them to straighten the cut out that's why they asked me to come back so they could fix it. And was told more sternly that I should no longer expect to receive their services free of charge. I was completely humiliated and now it will take me 4 years to get my hair length back.
