I Love Savvy

I was also sorry to see negative reviews about this salon. I have been back and forth for quite a few years and love Savvy. Front desk service has always been friendly and professional. I have never been complimented so much on my hair as when Eileen has done my cuts. I also feel it is affordable. I've done Triocci, Charles Ifergan and Sassoon and get just as great service at fraction of cost. Keep up the great job.

Ugly sassiness

I just got off the phone with the front desk at Savvy Salon, The man who answered the phone was so incredibly rude to me, that I have just taken on a new personal crusade to let everyone know how bad his behavior was on the phone. If this conversation was any indication on how I would be treated as a "valued" customer I will make sure never to step foot in that tragic "spa".

A bit confused about the front desk.

I was so surprised to read negative review of Savvy since I have also been a client of since I moved to Chicago 12 years ago. I have always been treated kindly and professionally at the front desk and by everyone else on the staff. Any salon that is busy is going to have a hectic front desk. I've seen many of the same clients every week so I guess not too many have been offended. As for parking, try right out in front or around the corner. I walk farther to park at a mall or at Dominicks. Savvy, keep up the great work!

Too bad the desk guy scares the clients away

I and several friends have been clients of Savvy on and off for years. There certainly are a lot of talented people working there, and you will most definitely get a great haircut, manicure, facial, etc. However, it is a shame that the man at the desk (also one of the owners) has such a lack of people skills and offensive personality that many clients do not ever come back.
